Heavier workloads
July 2008 - As the credit crunch continues to bite it seems that British workers are bearing the brunt of heavier workloads and longer hours.
Half of our respondents reported an increase in their workloads since January 2008. One in ten is working the equivalent of an extra day a week; almost a third (31%) have seen their workloads increase by over 10%, equivalent to an extra half day per week.
